This album was originally released in This came on the heels of the popular - and sexy - WHIPPED CREAM & OTHER DELIGHTS record. Opening up with "Tijuana Taxi" this album just grooves throughout! They really swing on the Dorsey classic "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You", then play "Spanish Flea", which became the theme from the DATING GAME/5(). Reply

THE TORERO BAND Tijuana - Sound Of Brass ( UK track mono LP of Tijuana sounds, front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains excellent with little sign of play MFP). Reply

We had a few Torero Band LPs at school in the 80s, and enjoyed putting them on and having a laugh. Yes, it's a little cheesey, and no doubt it was cashing in on the huge success of herb Alpert in the late 60s, but this was a cut above the usual easy-listening covers of current pop hits.5/5(1).
